Two problems: Adobe and email Distribution Lists

Hi all. New here. Had the Omnia several weeks now. At this point, only two issues stand in my way of absolutley loving this phone:

1. Can't open PDFs. The reader that came with the phone gave an error when trying to open them. Dug around a bit and found Adobe LE 2.5. Installed that. It won't open PDF's either. Is there a newer, better reader out there? I'm thinking it might be because most of the PDF's I receive are the newest version of PDF?

2. I need to send emails out to distribution lists then I am on the road. It appears to me that Windows Mobile does not allow for this. I'm thinking there is a workaround or an inexpensive piece of software that would let me do this.

Any and all help is MUCH appreciated!

For the pdf files you could try Foxit: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/pdf/mobile/wm_ppc.htm

or Pocketxpdf: http://pocketxpdf.sourceforge.net/

Not sure about the mail issue but you could look at Flexmail and see if that does what you need: http://www.pocketinformant.com/produ...php?p_id=mail&

Re: Two problems: Adobe and email Distribution Lists

Thanks Blazingwolf. Both of those PDF readers look like they are as old or older than Adobe LE 2.5. I was thinking the problem was that the Adobe program was too old.

I also browsed the email program's description, but didn't see anything about email distrubtion lists.

Surely I can't be the only one that these two items would be important to?

Re: Two problems: Adobe and email Distribution Lists

I have used both the built in pdf reader and the latest Adobe LE (which I posted on this forum somewhere, do a search for it) and both work flawlessly...so your problem must be related to your specific phone or software configuration.

Devin:

I searched and found your posting....ironically, it's the one that I originally downloaded and have on my phone. After some disappointment at that, more irony - I forwarded a few more pdf's rather than the ones I had been trying to open. I was able to open these! Awesome! Thanks Devin.
