Settings>System> Clocks and Alarms.
Something like that.

Re: Time stamp wrong on Text messages

I had the same issue with VZW Omnia -- all incoming SMS were 5 hours behind the actual time... a hard reset fixed it (still working to date).

I ended up on a tech support phone call with this issue... It is an issue known to both Verizon and Samsung and "will be addressed in a future software update." Basically, this is a known bug.

Yep, they told me the same crap months ago. Not only was the incoming time wrong, I was receiving text messages minutes or even hours after they were actually sent. I tried to wait for the "Samsung Software Update" but just recently asked for a replacement phone. This one seems to be working fine...for now.

Re: Time stamp wrong on Text messages

Sorry to hijack an old thread, but I've had this problem for a while now. I'm using Adryns 6.5 ROM and haven't been able to find the daylight savings option on it. Anyone know what I can do?

Did you try the workaround posted a few posts up where you change the time zone to a bogus one (not yours) then change it back again to yours?

It worked for me back when I had the trouble. I don't recall if I had to soft reset in between but I don't think so but when in doubt...

Re: Time stamp wrong on Text messages

Yeah, that didn't work. I'm thinking it may have to do with the fact that my phone number is from a central time zone and I live in AZ.
