Happy with my new Omnia

I have to say that I am very pleased and happy with my new Omnia.

I have had an HP iPaq for several years now, and wasn't going to go to a phone/pda combination unless it had Windows Mobile on it. I searched quite a bit, and when Verizon dropped the price on the Omnia, I couldn't resist.

Have a couple of questions:
1. Is there any kind of backup software already installed on it?
2. Is there any way to set up one of the softkeys for "NEW" note, contact, appointment, message, etc. ?
3. Is there any way to set "Transcriber" as the default method of input?

All of your questions have been answered before so it would be a good idea to search. But I'll help you out. There is no backup software installed on the Omnia, Get SPB Backup. You can change the soft keys in the registery, "HKCU_Microsoft_Keys_112" make change the paths. Use AC IM selector to set a certain keyboard.
