keep loosing my data connection.

starting friday, my omnia keeps popping up a message that my username/password are wrong and I can't connect to teh data network, to fix it , I have to *228 and reactivate it, but it keeps doing in... anyone else have this problem?

I'm having the same problem today. I think it's a network issue.

I guess the philly area is also affected. I can make calls, send texts, but the moment I attempt to use opera or weatherbug, the data craps out on me asking for a password and *228 doesn't solve the problem either. How frequent are these outages and how long do they usually last?

my first one happened friday afternoon, I messed with my phone soft resetting it, etc, for about 20 minutes, then did the activation, didn't have a problem again till today, I activated it again, and first try still gave me the error, then it worked...

I talked to vzw tech support and they confirmed there is a problem with their data network, but they do not have an e.t.a. as to when it will be fixed. Hopefully soon, because everytime the menu for username and password comes up my phone locks n i have to soft reset =(

It's affecting the Northeast. Call, let them know, and ask for a credit. I called on Friday, got that answer, and asked for a partial credit. They gave me $10, so not bad.
