Problems moving Email files

I'm on a Verizon Omnia. My biggest issue, as is with everyone else, is device memory. I do a good job of moving everything off the device and installing CABs in My Storage, so I've got the basics of saving memory down. My problem is that I have a huge inbox from my Gmail account (lest 30 days). I've tried using MemMaid and Pocket Mechanic to move the email and messaging files to My Storage, but it won't stick. I've tried searching the forums and googling but I haven't found anything that has helped.

Am I missing something?

Would appreciate any help, thanks.

Re: Problems moving Email files

Well, the above didn't work.

And I'm little surprised that no one is even commenting on this. I've seen posts where they claim MemMaid works. Can anyone confirm this?

Why isn't anyone replying? Even to say I'm an idiot. I guess I'm looking for help in the wrong place.

Re: Problems moving Email files

Are you doing a soft reset after making the change? If you are maybe you are doing it to soon? WM6.1 takes a minute or so before it saves new information like registry changes.

Re: Problems moving Email files

When I use MemMaid or Pocket Mechanic it resets right away. But when I did the manual reg edit I reset, and when I went back in and look at the reg edit it was there, but it didn't work.

It's really frustrating because this is the only problem I have with this phone. And it seems like I shouldn't be a problem. Why can I relocate any other folder or cache but this?

I will try again with Pocket Mechanic or MemMaid but wait a little bit.

Thanks for the advice.

Re: Problems moving Email files

Well, that didn't work either. I guess I'll just have to live with it until someone finds a fix. Thanks.
