Angry Have you seen this Omnia 930sc!

I stumbled across the Omnia 930sc and this thing is sweet. It's this type of stuff that makes me want to **** **** up. Why isn’t this here - available -ready to be devoured? We are getting screwed! It came out in Japan the same time this piece of crap came out in the USA. Why does Europe and beyond get the cool ****? Sorry for the rant, but damn it pisses me off.

Re: Have you seen this Omnia 930sc!

It is a neat phone, but a feature phone, nonetheless. It merely shares the Omnia form factor and name.

Japan has been way ahead of the US when it comes to Mobile technology for years, it doesn't surprise me that they have a "better" version of the Omnia...they had video calling for what 10 years? and we're barely even offering it in the U.S.

well you could always move to Japan or Europe...!!! anyway that phone is not that much better I wouldn't be so upset about it...

Re: Have you seen this Omnia 930sc!

That would be like Microsoft developing the Xbox 360 for the USA and the original Xbox for Europe and the rest of the world. But that doesn't happen. The screen resolution is a HUGE deal 800 X 480 32bit. I really like the Omnia compared to other phones, but if this was available now on a different network - goodbye i910 and Verizon - hello 930sc and whatever carrier carries it. How much do you think the roaming charges would be on a Japanese phone?

well with VZW's track record...we may see that phone in 10 years...but then Japan will have the The Platinum edition Omnia with built in remote start for ur car, and 1080p display and telepathy interface so u just think and the phone does...

Re: Have you seen this Omnia 930sc!

I don't think so, I haven't seen anything. It would be nice. This is what I'm talking about. The whole cell industry is backward. I understand that each carrier will do want they need to do for profit, but come one throw us a bone. Having a VGA display, fancy graphic editors (oh yes, a T.V tuner card included in the 930sc), and constant updates for the phone is what all Omnia phones should have. I'll quit whining and take what I can get. OH WELL - last note - it would be cool to have an over the air HD tuner in the Omnia. Maybe it will happen in 10 Years. Probably not!

Re: Have you seen this Omnia 930sc!

Did some more research and this is not a windows mobile phone. Oh well, it's still cool. Maybe when they cook a ROM for the i910, they'll be able to flash the 930sc, or maybe Verizon will get the Omnia HD.
