M2D album art on Music tab

Anyone get album art to show on the music tab on their Omnia? I read somewhere that it only pulls album art from "\Storage Card\My Documents\My Music" but of course we're stuck with "\My Storage\My Documents\My Music".

Anyone found a workaround? I tried searching at Modaco but their forum isn't "search" friendly

Wow 35 views... so maybe I should have asked this question. Does anyone out there actually have album art working on the music tab on M2D on their Omnia?

Album art show for most of the albums in my M2D music tab BUT almost every album has the wrong art showing. It is rather confusing and I know I have seen a tutorial on how to fix it somewhere , but I can't remember where I saw it and it was a lengthy process so I declined to attempt it

When I was running M2D some of the art would appear and some would not. I didn't have an issue with incorrect art, but I was frustrated to no end on why it wouldnt show them all. I believe the art needs to be imbedded into the mp3 file or the art to be named folder.jpg and in the same folder as the album to show correctly. If anyone can nail this down it would be greatly appreciated.

My mp3's have album art embedded, but I noticed that after putting mp3s in '\My Storage', JPGs are created. I know I didn't put them there. I even erased them and they came back. Does HTC (M2D) Music Player do this?

I have my music in \Storage Card\Music\Album Names and I get album covers in both S2P and the supplied Touch Player. This is with the Verizon i910. The jpgs are extracted from the mp3 files if they're coded that way...I think.

Ahh... maybe that is my problem. I throw all my mp3/ogg files in the same folder so TCPMP can pick them up. Problem is HTC player extracts all the folder.JPGs and puts them in the same folder so HTC player doesn't know which one to use.

I want to keep using TCPMP for it's last.fm implementation so I'll have to think of something else to get the HTC M2D player to pick up the album art.

Well i know when i sync from windows media player to my omnia the albums work fine on all my players, i apply the album arts to my mp3s with another program winamp though, seems to work the best, if i remember right they should all be idv3 tags.
