Samsung Omnia for FREE, sorta.

Hey, might want to know Verizon is offering existing customers that are in the window for the "NEW EVERY TWO" deal a FREE Omnia IF you sign up for a two-year contract. Shipping is free too. I was waiting for the price to come down before I got one and I guess it was time. I am glad to because I can't stand the all the hype over the Iphone. I work with some programmers that have the Iphone and I can finally show them all the things 6.1 and soon to be 6.5 can do better.....

all you have to say is, it has a 5mp camera, then do like three things at one time and say "now do that!"

I got mine for free too thanks to the new every two + discounts, I'm liking the phone so far, and hard to beat that price... lol

Verizon's site will show it as being $99 after rebate, but if you log in and choose to upgrade through the website and are eligible for the New Every Two discount (20 months after you signed your current contract) you should get the $100 off, making it effectively free.

Yep. I like the free phone, but had to put in my two years to get it! lol

the new every 2 discount varies depending on what plan you have. my monthly calling plan (data plan isn't included in what they base the discount on) is 39.99, so I only got $50 off. and I read somewhere that the new every 2 discounts were getting smaller sometime soon, the $100 was going to $50, the 50 to 30, etc...

I am expecting my "free" omnia tomorrow-

I have the $45 data plan now and 2 phones on my family share voice plan. I'm hoping to switch to a complete plan so I can put my xv6700 on the other line (it's flashed to wm6.1) and have data and text messaging on both phones.

If VZW can't make the plan happen I might send it back and get a TP or use the 6700 until a better deal comes along.

Without the GPS the omnia adds little to my 6700 but it was "free"
