If I weren't on a family plan, I would be on the same one you are phattooth...I think that one is the best for an individual plan. I know you can't use this feature, but the fact that you have no need for it is great in itself!!!!

I know I don't 'need' this plan, but I am going to let each person on my plan pick a couple numbers 'out-of-plan' and tell them to go crazy with them....no harm in that!!!

The thing is though... I have the unlimited plan for me... i also have a 2 other lines on a family plan that use less than the minimum listed! and if i raised it to get this "feature", then i fall right into the aforementioned trap!

Not if your on a family plan...you pay full-price for the unlimited plan for each person on your plan....more than twice what I am currently paying!!

I disagree with you here....I have a family plan with my ex and our two kids, and I have a plan that goes over what we use enough to be safe. When this plan gets activated, I am letting them pick a couple numbers each, lowering my plan a couple steps down, and let them go nuts with any in-plan calls (no change there) and the other numbers they chose, saving money every month, and most likely having even more phone-time than we currently get every month!!

edit: Just read your last post....I see what you have now, it may not work for you, but for a plan like mine (2100 minutes, unlimited texting for all, and data for me for four lines (all on one plan)....it really is a good thing!!

OK... in that scenario, it works out well... and awesome for you! seriously!

I guess the way both of mine happen to work out for me just make me cynical.
With as much as i pay Verizon per month... they just don't always make me that dollar amount happy.

I know what you mean, those plans aren't for everyone. I guess as long as you can find a setup that works for you that's all you can ask for! Believe me...I wish I could get the unlimited plan!! If I were on a single line, I would in a second!!!

P.S. I see you use lllboredlll's GPS fix....cool guy, I've dealt with him in a few forums (even found a binary converter to rib him with)!!!

Know matter how you slice it and dice it, Verizon is still the most expensive and controlling carrier in the world, they will give a little and take back more

They may be expensive in some aspects of their services, but I have never had a coverage issue, in all my years with them hardly a dropped call, and I have always had great customer service with VZW both in-store and on the phone, so to me at least, they are worth a few extra $$ for the reliable, satisfactory service/care I get!!

A plan and phone is only as good as the network.

Well this would have saved me some big bills in the past but since then I just get the unlimited minutes and unlimited data plans. Yes it's probably a bit high priced but I don't ever have to worry about how many minutes or data I've used. I'll probably keep my plan since I'm already used to the bill but if I ever need to cut back this is awesome news for sure!
