Build Quality Check

I just got my omnia on Friday. I noticed that the touchpad / optical mouse button sits a little awkward in the housing. The top edge of the pad is recessed below the case, while the bottom edge is above the case (like the button is unlevel). Is this common? Should I return it? It's slighly annoying as it affects the ability to 'touch' the very top edge of the pad (finger gets raised up by the case).

If I should return it, does anyone know if you can swap out phones at a store if I originally bought it online?

Re: Build Quality Check

I would take it in and compare it with one in the store and then make your decision. Judging from your description, mine sits in about the same way as yours, and I never even noticed, so unless yours got knocked out further than it should, I think your OK.

I would just compare with one of theirs, but if it comes to it, they should exchange in the store eventhough you initially purchased online....just watch-out for that 'restocking' fee they may pop out there ($35 I think)!!

I had not noticed either until you said something but yes, mine is as exactly as you describe. Never had a problem until now that I am aware of it, geez thanks! Just kidding!
