Re: coreplayer help

Perhaps because the TRP file isn't really a mpg file?
What program did you use to record the file originally?

Question Re: coreplayer help

Sorry about jacking the thread and not providing a solution. I have a Coreplayer question as well and I did not want to get hammered for starting another thread.

My WVP and TP will no longer play any movies I active sync to the * gig memory. They sputter and ultimately stop altogether. I went out and got Coreplayer. This thing is sweet. I had a problem with the screen not rotation at first but that has been fixed. Now my problem is that even though CP plays the movies with great clarity there is a fraction of lag time between the audio and video when I use my bluetooth headset.

I am using the Samsung SBH500 headset with the VZN i910.

Questions:

1. Has this happened to anyone else and if so do you know how to fix the delay/lag audio problem? Is there some setting I need to change?

2. Are there any settings that can be modified to WMP or TP to make them play the movies? WMP plays music without a hitch, but movies are a no go.

Any assistance would be appreciated. Thanks.

Re: coreplayer help

"Menu"/"Tools"/"Preferences"/"Select Page"/"Advanced"/"Manual A/V offset +/-"

Then set it accordingly..

Thank you for the reply. I am not trying to be funny, but what does "accordingly" mean. My problem is that here is a slight delay (fraction of a second). What parameter should I change to sync it right? There are 3 fields so I could have 1/3 of the solution and still botch it up. Thanks.

Re: coreplayer help

Well, I set my Maunual A/V offset +/- at "-200" and it seems to be good. I just tried a whiole bunch of settings until I got it right. I thought at first I needed "200", then tried "100", then I went negative with "-50" and eventually ended up at "-200". That was it.

You just have to experiment.. I didn't mess with the Soft Drop tolerance or Hard-drop tolerance..

I hope you get it!

I will give it a shot. I really like coreplayer. If/when I get the earphones in sync I will be one happy person.

Quick question. I have not played with it yet, but do you have to put the "-" symbol before the number for it to identify as a negative number?

Essentially do I get rid of the decimal point and just put in -200 like you have listed above?

Thanks in advance.

SCRATCH THAT (edit) -

Tried it. Figured it out.

(in my best Jim Carey/Ace Ventura)

"Fits... like a glove"

Thanks!

More than you know. Besides talking, My phone is used for text, Movies and music. On long commutes to work movies quickly jump to #1. The slight delay I was experiencing sort of threw whole thing off for me. Today It was perfect. I have posted this question so many times and never even got a response so your efforts are truly appreciated.
