I knew when I posted it that I shouldn't have. There's rumors and then there's RUMORS!

I simply read a post either here or in a similar Omnia forum that a person had gotten that information from a Verizon tech support rep. However, we all know how reliable they are which is why I simply left it as "a rumor" instead of a RUMOR.

In retrospect, I should have done as any good cub reporter would do and wait for at least TWO sources before printing.

My real point was simply that one probably should not hold there breath for a GPS hack as much as for Verizon to upgrade. I'll try and find my one source and see how reliable.

Sorry to get anyone excited!

I know, but I'm thinking there will be a WM version as well. HTC just released word on the Diamond2 + Touch Pro2, and they are starting to stack up to the Omnia, so I am sure Samsung will step up in turn!!
