power up losing guff...

It seems sometimes my power button which is set as the only power up is not always turing the phone on and off now sometimes it does nothing wake it up or put it to sleep until i keep pressing it rapidly and yes im using my finger nail since its kinda hard to push in the first place and i havent messed with any button relocation programs yet and then this morning my phone wouldnt cut on at all the power button was lit green from charger even after i unplugged it i had to pull the battery to get it back on. I dont think the 2 incidents are related i just threw the other in while i was at it...anybody else having the same problem?

Re: power up losing guff...

Your phone is locking up, and failing to resume from sleep.

What do you have installed/running in the background?

Re: power up losing guff...

What should be locking it up or not...you arent really telling me anything. The only thing we can really do with lack of information is reccomend a hard reset.

If you leave wifi on--try leaving it off and see what happens.

MegaShark...you haven't by any chance installed VZAppzone...have you? I haven't seen this specific issue mentioned before, but it has caused others, so I wouldn't be too shocked!!

Re: power up losing guff...

I haven't heard any issues like this with NET 3.5, but you may want to do another hard reset and not install 3.5 and see what happens.
