Problem with Dialer change

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Phone\Skin]
“Enabled”=dword:1, you should change to 0 and reboot your Omnia
http://www.modaco.com/content/i9×0-...-dialler-look/

When I try to do this, it doesn't work for me It gives me an access denied error when trying to change the value from 1 to 0.

Can you help?

Thanks

Re: Problem with Dialer change

I'm fairly sure the reg editor is a free one -- and I've made a few other registry changes to the device with it. No problems...

Would it be something Verizon has blocked?

no I was able to do it...I turned it back to the samsung dialer but it worked...maybe something else you have installed is causing it...

Re: Problem with Dialer change

Go to tools, unlock to be able to edit your winmo registry from your windows PC.

Always gotta do that after initially installing it, otherwise it is read only.

Re: Problem with Dialer change

Thank you! Is there another dialer that uses less memory than the factory installed one? Seems bulky!
