Activesync NOT sync'ing my Contacts, Notes, Files, etc.

Greetings from frozen New England! I recenly had to return my Samsung Omnia, as there was a bubble that was forming under the screen (too much heat perhaps...?!). No worries, as Verizon kindly replaced it - free of charge, as it was within the first 30 days - and the service tech even copied over my contacts list. I though it was rather nice... and all was right with the world, after all... Obama was now in office... (sorry, that is dialogue for another blog).

Anyhow, I docked the i910 with the office XP desktop and saw that the Activesync program was doing its thing... or so I thought.

When I checked on the Contacts list... on the phone, it only showed a paltry half dozen or so names and numbers, yet - on the PC - we had over 1,000 awaiting "sharing". A check of the Options listing in the Pocket PC's Activesync Menu selection showed a number of items grayed-out and UNselectable. Ditto on the PC. What is going on here...!?

I've NEVER had this issue before. If we can't keep our Contacts alive and up to date, that won't be good at all!

Please - can someone shed some badly needed light on the matter?? I would greatly appreciate it... and eagerly await your reply.

Thanks.
