Did you install it to the device, and then soft reset? Don't install it to storage.

If anyone is iterested I found a different dialer. I couldn't get it to work on mine, but then again I'm still pretty new to my omnia.

Re: Omnia Hacks / Tips / Tricks

I just switched from a xv6800 to the Omnia. I love it but am running across a problem that may just be on my phone. You know how after ending a call you can hit menu and then "view contact", and the person with whom you were just speaking's contact pops up? (this on the old phone) Well, my Omnia doesn't open the person's contact when I type "view Contact", it just goes to the Samsung phonebook and then I must look up the person's name/contact myself. It's a ***** to do and takes more time. Is this on all Omnia's - please advise.

Also, why doesn't the Omnia suggest email addresses once you start typing them? This may be a deal breaker since I use my phones to email constantly for work, and I need the "suggest" email feature on whatever phone I have.

Save the Omnia for me......help me fix this? !!! =)

This is a great! One problem however, now my screen won't rotate four positions. When the phone is upside down, the screen won't rotate to make it right side up. Anyone else have this problem? I am sure it was created that way because the volume buttons would be reversed if upside down. A fix would be nice though.

Change TuronOffAutoDeploy from a 0 to a 1.

Soft reset.

Or import the attached reg file.

r we talking about the htc touch pro? I have one from sprint and I do not see the Change TuronOffAutoDeploy in the reg HKCU\ContralPanel\Sip..mine does not have anything even close..

Also, any ideas on getting the keyboard light to last longer??

This is the Omnia forum so he is talking about the Omnia not the Touch Pro.

Use at your own risk, I have found it to be finger friendly, and nice looking, but buggy.

HKCU\Software\Samsung\MiniToday

Set silverInbox key from a 0 to 1.

Soft reset.

Or import this reg file.

I was trying to do this, nothing happened (i900) How it suppose show up? Then I open sms it stay the same like it was, open Outlook it's still same too

It only works with Samsung Today 2, and maybe 1. Otherwise, you need to run it from the executable in \Windows.
