I'd say a couple weeks of fiddling with it off and on, my main focus was on the PocketShield theme (which is the only PS Omnia specific theme so far...heh) but kinda dovetailed into going full Mario with the phone. But since its all image replacement, and I love me some photoshopping, it tends to go quickly as long as I have proper images to work from. This one will probaly stick for awhile as I gotta work on some other artwork stuff... But I am sure I'll get the itch to mess with it again soon enough. :mrgreen:

Adrynalyne....a bit off topic, but did you see there is an arrow-less WQVGA release of FingerKeyBoard? It looks pretty sweet on the Omnia, plus...he included a set of pre-set phrases for faster texting!!!

I just looked, and I guess he hasn't CAB'ed it up yet, he geve me the skins I'm posting here they are the arrow-less versions.

P.S. just in case anyone else doesn't know what we are talking about, here is the original thread:

install the WQVGA CAB and paste the skin files added here into the skin folder and your good to go (the arrows always took up too much space for my liking)!!

All of these looked so far away from what i`d be capable of doing just a week ago or so. With the help of some of the members here and a little digging of my own i`ve got my Omnia personalized well enough...for now!

okay, I already have 2.1 installed...do I have to reinstall it with that .cab? then where do I put all the skin files? I see the txt files, but all the skin files go where?

Okay figured it out, but it doesn't work...none of the blue parts show up...no spacebar...so kinda sucks.

Its Manila2D. You can install it, or flash a cooked rom.

I am currently testing initial builds of my beta 0.3 rom, with this as the default theme.

There is some fantastic looking stuff posted here. Here is my rather unsophisticated Today screen. I don't seem to find the fancy ones as easy to use. The benefits are less memory consumption, fewer issues, functionality more to my liking, and a good view of upcoming events. This device serves to plug some of the gaps in my memory.:drunken:

It consists of
1. Classic Black Theme
2. Today Digital Clock, with New PDC custom font: http://project.ionized.googlepages.com/newpdcfont.zip
3. iLauncher (used to use Clauncher, which is free)

Anybody know how to combine a jpg background and an animated gif? I would like to combine the animation from the attached gif (with a transparent background) over the attached wallpaper and use it in S2U2, with the animation spinning inside the earth.

I tried saving the jpg as a gif and editing with GIMP but it was way over my head.

Sheesh....I get my phone all tricked out and customized and SPB brings out MobileShell3! It`s gonna be sweet when folks start offering skins and customizations for the new version...

Thanks a bunch. Maybe you could let me know what you do so I can learn how. GIMP looks powerful, but a lot of that is meaningless at my graphics noob level.

Adrynalyne....One thing I don't see in your installed app list that it looks like you use is wisbar...do you cook that in, or am I just missing it on the list?

Interesting, I'll have to check it out, I like being able to customize the taskbar. I was thinking wisbar afer releasing more memory, but here is a good alternative!

What ROM do you have? I see you have 146.07 MB Storage Memory ?
I use DXIA5 and I have only 94.2 MB storage memory.

Cooked rom based off of CC20. Its for the Verizon i910 though. I've seen plenty of roms with just as much space and more for the i900, for what its worth.
