Make sure you use the built in M2D Customizer to back up the current theme.

you have to use m2dc which is provided by Adryn provided i found mine over at MoDaCo here is the zip file that i have on my computer


Just put it in your themes folder for M2dc then click apply theme and you are good to go!! now off to flash Wozzers 6.5 rom woooo hooooo

Thanks for the reply. A few naive questions though. I don't know where to locate M2dc or even what it is. Also, why flash Wozzers rom if I already have Adryns 1.2 ROM? I don't have a "themes" folder set up at this time. Do you mean on my desktop computer or on the phone itself? I'll get you all back when we need to go into a dental discussion forum so please take your time with me and excuse my limited knowledge on all of this. This is like a foreign language for me, but I really do appreciate all the help and feedback. I need to be spoonfed this stuff like a newborn. Thanks so much.

I meant I was going to flash Wozzers rom! Anyway here we go!!

First off find a theme that you like download it to your desktop! hook up your phone to your computer using active sync. on your desk top open up your phone so you have access to all the files and programs on your phone.

open up program files then open up M2DC there will be a folder in there called Themes copy your theme that you downloaded into that folder. now go to your phone start>programs>M2DC (It looks like a cog) your newly installed theme should be there. click on it and apply theme and M@DC will do the rest.

FYI make sure you get a theme that will fit your phone i.e. QVGA

I've been using fingermenu from the begining and I love it. It's got a touch bug though. I can't place it but sometimes I have the hit a button two or three times for it to register. It may be motion related.

I haven't heard of fingersuit thought, what's it got in adition to fingermenu?

btw UPX the executable for fingermenu....It seems to render faster!

Thank you so much for the step by step instructions. I now see exactly what you're saying. I had limited time to try this last night, but from what I see, I cannot seem to find the M2dc folder nor the Themes folder when I download the zipfile, so I cannot assign that file to that folder. Is it necessary to open the file with the WinRar program and extract the file? Not sure what to do next. By the way, my apologies for misinterpreting what you said about flashing Wozzer's ROM. Is his ROM M2d also? Thanks.

Ignore the Wozzer's rom comment, its unrelated. M2DC is built in--check your programs list. Go to the last tab, back up your M2D settings and theme.

Then go to whichever other tab it is, add a theme. Probably the first tab. Browse to where you have the theme at, assuming its in the theme format.

Otherwise, simply take the graphics file from the theme, and dump them into \Windows, overwriting what it needs to. You will need Resco Explorer or Total Commander to get it done.

The M2DC folder is on your phone its built into the rom! you dont need to extract anything just put the whole zip file into said folder. you should really get Resco file explorer! Or something like it!

Thank you soooo much. Thanks bgill55 and Adrynalyne for your input. It worked and the theme downloaded perfectly. It looks awesome. Now onto something else. I've been able to access maps and directions and street view using Google maps. How do I actually use the GPS for things like POI's and driving navigation? Is there another program that needs to be downloaded to use these features? Thanks again.

go into settings then phone click on gps and set location to on then d/l amaze gps it about the only free gps out there unless you want to pay then go with igo or garmin

nope, ya want one? I kept the layers seperated so I can in theory make the dialer work on any background with only 15min of work. Or I can give out my paint.net file and anyone can download the programs since it's free and make your own changes as often as you like....what will it be? ( request will be proccessed as fast as I can, but I'm not Adrynalyn so it may take time for lots of requests )

If it has an option setting for "Ratio", "Proportions" or some such set to Don't keep Ratio, Proportion, etc.

MyMobiler works great on the Omnia. I have an i910 that I have activated on the alltel network. No problem with it. Just trying to figure out the setting to get it to connect to the net via #777. Glad to see a forum for Omnia owners.

Hi bgill55. I'm having a problem after downloading the 3D gold screen program. Whenever I click on the internet or search icon at the bottom, everything freezes. I have to soft reset to get it working again. Do you have any clue as to why this might be happening. I've flashed numerous times between 1.2M2d and 1.3M2d programs and have gotten the same thing. Is there any other program for that gold theme that might work? Please let me know what you think. Very frustrating.

I Dont think it has to do with the theme sounds like you have another problem. Did you try a different theme? Or try to go back to the O.G. one. and see if you have the same problem.

Thanks for the reply. Well, when I delete the 3D gold theme, the original theme works perfectly. I can scroll any of the bottom icons and enter any of them with no problem. When I reapplied the gold theme, I can click and go into any of the icons with no problem until I click on the 3rd one from the left. I forget which one it is. Very strange. Any other suggestions? Thanks.

Try going to M2DC and go to the tab section and move the problem item down a couple places give that a try.

not sure i just stumbled across this font a while back and its the only one i have found that looks good imo! here is the cab so you can tear it aprt and let me know!
