Re: Not waking up with S2U2

maybe this; I modified the instuctions for your task, but the linked post is very short and may help in other ways.
Quote:
1. Dial **772
2. Enter the Service Code 000000 (six 0's) and tap OK
3. Push the directional pad down until you see a screen that says:

SVC Mode NAM1
End of BASIC NAM
EXIT

4. Push the directional pad right so that "Exit" bacomes "More"
5. Press the action button (middle of directional pad) to enter the additional settings menu.
6. scroll down about 75 times (I would do only 65-70 fast then slow down after that). You will get the the "Slot cycle" screen and the default value will be "2".

Re: Not waking up with S2U2

Thank you. That worked perfectly. I had to change my mouse back to a 4-way D pad instead of the mouse but after that it worked well. I did notice that I had to redo it because I didn't push the "ok" button to save the settings. And once when I was trying to 'check' the SCI I noticed that it locked up, but a soft reset fixed that.

Re: Not waking up with S2U2

Honestly, the mouse is ok. I am not completely 'sold' on it yet. I wish there was a quick way to switch between the dpad and the mouse because sometimes you have to have a dpad and other times it's nice to be able to pinpoint your click with the mouse. It's a tough decision. Nice feature though. I love my omnia.

Ask and ye shall recieve!!!!

Unzip this file and place it in your Omnia under My Device > Windows > Start Menu > Programs and then map it to a button (I use my camera single press button).

I found this over at Howard Forums, but they are down right now, so I can't post the thread, but I will update with credit to the author as soon as I can!!!

Works GREAT!!!!!

edit...OK it was actually on Modeco, chaimd wrote + posted it:

The "Slot Cycle Index" works on the Omnia like on the Titan or Apache. Set to 0 or 1 for faster ring response.

The "13K Vocoder" option was available on the Apache and Titan, but the recommended option was "13K" not "13K Vocoder". So I am not sure if the 13K setting is available elsewhere in the menu or not, or not needed. Also not sure if the "13K Vocoder" setting accomplishes what the "13K" setting did, which was to expand the frequency response, or bandwidth, to make calls clearer with more high frequency content.

If anyone could shed more light on this for the Omnia, that would be cool.
