Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate
Yup me too. I have been using the built in keyboard with the HTC touch for a while and loved it. This one seems laggy especially when using xt9. You gotta go real slow to be accurate. Anyone know how to fix this or is it just the way its gonna be?

Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate

Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate
This may be a long shot, but when you started the device up for the first time, did you guys do the "Align Screen" using a stylus or your finger tip? If you aligned the screen with your finger, that may be the problem. Just go to the settings and realign with the stylus.

Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate
I agree with doctorPDA....calibrating with a stylus is better, but I have also found the keyboard to not quite be my favorite!!! I installed SPB keyboard and I do like it, but it tends to get a little flukey on my SMS screen, so I am thinking of trying another...maybe TouchPal that gigatigga mentioned!!

Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate
Its weird that its only busted in SMS, any keyboard i have used is not good only in SMS. Something is up with the threader i think. Has anyone tried turning threading off to see if the issue remains?

Re: SMS Keyboard Inaccurate
I have to say for the first couple of hours I felt like the keyboard was not accurate in sms at all as well - but I realized after a few texts it started to recognize the words that I was putting in very accurately. I think it just takes some time for device to get used to your input.
