Yeah, I still have not used another browser, but I liked Opera's features like easy access to the tabs, but hey, if using iris keeps me from having to reset the device every few weeks...

BTW, I found a free backup app at omniahub.com called Sprite. Anyone used it yet? I have not tried restoring yet, and was hoping to get some feedback. You tend to get what you pay for....

Sprite isn't a bad little app. I used it on my 700wx for a while. I didn't have any problems doing a restore with it, I just prefered the layout + ease of use of SPB.

I didn't know it was still free (been a few years), but give it a shot, I would do a restore right away if you don't have too much on your Omnia to see how it works. If you already have a lot on your device, maybe install a trial version of SPB or RESCO Backup, and do a complete backup of one of them.....just in case!!

Thanks. I went to the omniahub.com site, but the links took me to the Sprite program which you had to pay for. Did I miss the free program somewhere?

I downloaded via the rapidshare link, but you are correct, if you go to the offical sight, they charge for the same app. Omniahub makes no reference to this being a trial version, but hopefully this is the case.

Does anyone know if omniahub is a legit site, or are they doing something illegal here?

They host links to warez files.

I did not realize. I just did a google search for illegal omnia hub downloads, and did not find anything, but where they blo ked a link because it "contained illegal content". I had no intention to reference an illegal site. :( Should PPC geeks make this known?

Probably, but for whatever reason many forums who do not condone warez turn a blind eye to the site so....

I stay out of it, LOL.

Not sure if they are related or if there was something else that happened. I also moved some widgets around and changed them up, so who knows if that had something to do with it...

Had this issue happen again - It may be related to the keybd app (I was running Finger Keybd2 and suspect it could be related, so I uninstalled it to see if I run into this problem again).

I soft-reset and it's gone away again. We'll see if it comes back.
BTW- I had a hard lock-up today that was odd. Wouldn't turn back on with multiple soft-reset button pushes, yanked the battery, nothing... finally restarted. If that happens again, will bring it back for a replacement.

I'm sure its not the case, but I can't help but ask. Is your main or mass memory almost full? That can cause some wierd things to start happening on phones. I don't know about PPC's, but I work on alot of Nokia BB5 and older models, and we see them come in with full memory alot, and they always do funny things like resetting, running slow, freezing up, shutting off and not powering on for a while. Your power description just sounded very familiar....
