Horndoctor: tried a couple of uninstall/ reinstalls. Goes great, but then says "Installation of .... Software .....CAB was unsuccessful"?

np, i totally agree with horndoc cause i looked up few apps and both were NOT cabs and thats what you want to run on omnia.

It could also be that the apps you want to install are just incompatible and/or you don't have enough device storage memory or program memory to run them.

Thanks again darrenwlsn and horndoctor. After a lot of frustration, I finally got the programs running.
Ended up like this: 1. Active Sync
2. New PC Studio
3. Exe. programs would not load through the comp.
Went to app. sites and requested CAB. Files
4. Transferred CABs to My Storage.
5. Today Screen, Programs, File Explorer, My Storage, click on App.CAB, click where you want to install. Done. No soft reset.

All game Apps in CAB. that I've tried still get "not a pocket pc application" , so I guess like horndog said, they aren't compatible.
I'll keep playing with this basic stuff, and hopefully learn more everyday.
