Restore Omnia i910 from metroFLASH to VZW?

I am new to this forum, so please excuse me if I posted in the wrong place.

I am a MetroPCS subscriber using an Omnia i910 that I originally purchased from Verizon. When I switched to MetroPCS, they "flashed" it so it could be activated on their network.

Now, I'd like to give the Omnia to my brother back home, but first I need to restore it to Verizon's network. I performed a "hard reset" which just erased stored data and restored the preferences to factory-set; calls and texts are still going via the MetroPCS network.

If I bring my Omnia to a Verizon store, can they flash it back? Or can anyone here help provide DIY instructions?

#228 was an invalid number. So I tried *228, and it went to the MetroPCS activations system.
