Instant Gps Locks For All

change these keys

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\InputBufferSize: set from 4096 to 512
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\OutputBufferSize: set from 4096 to 512
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers\Samsung GPS Hardware\SleepOnNoData: set from 100 to 0

- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\CurrentLogFile: set from CurrentLogFile to Blank (set string value to blank)
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\OldLogFile: set from OldLogFile to Blank (set string value to blank)

make a new dword value that reflects this key
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Multiplexer\MaxBufferSize: set from 16384 to 1024

4. Switch off and on or soft reset.

okay this is what i did, id already done the previous registry entries by hand and got rid of gps keep alive and then i downloaded and installed http://www.4shared.com/file/zSW04Fh5...river_316.html

i installed it and then cleaned my registry just to make sure there were no conflicts (dont change anycom port yet even though it tells you to)
i then opened gpsmod from the start menu
then i went menu>system
under gpsmod driver i changed

sleep time to 0 (dont know if it stuck, went back in and it was 400 so maybe i didnt change it the first time but i am now)

commtimeout to 0
keepalive stayed at 15000

com 1 enabled

under internal gps device

sleeptime to 0

poll rate to 100

input buffer to 512

output buffer 512

comport 8 enabled

the reason y i didnt change the com port like it told me to is because the only gps app i use that doesnt using the intermediate gps driver by default is garmin . so i went into garmin and changed it to gps intermediate

the only thing ive noticed is when gps starts up the phone now beeps a couple of times until i get into my gps app (pass the disclaimer) and can show me that its locked

TRY IT AND TELL ME IM LYING

Re: Instant Gps Locks For All

ooops my mistake i copy pasted the keys to change the correct location for input/output buffer settings and sleep on no data is
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Drivers

the max buffer size dword should be made at
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\GPS Intermediate Driver\Multiplexer
