Re: movies setting for 910

You didn't specify what video player you were using on your Omnia, but I would highly recommend the specialized build of TCPMP here. Install that on your phone and you should be able to play most videos without special conversion settings for the phone itself (for example, if you've already ripped DVDs).

Re: movies setting for 910

I utilize Divx converter...Works Perfectly for playing on the Phone. Afterall it is DIVX certified.

Don't have a tv-out cable to test...But I know some conversion issues slow down the audio. example is Dolby Digital on a Dolby Prologic device.

Hope this helps

Re: movies setting for 910

Honestly, if you have Core player you don't need to convert movies at all. Core player has (i think) 6 different aspect ratios to choose from to. The allow you to box the movie, wide screen it and full screen. I had two very good converters but I cant remember their names because I stopped using them.

You have to purchase Core palyer and make a few adjustments for voice/video sync and volume (limiter), but after that you are as god as gold (in my opinion).
