question about sycning pictures

ive been looking around my phone for 2 hours now. this hasnt happened to me before. simple question but im getting 2 answers from my phone.
i flashed to Lori's 28011 rom last week and im loving it. i also got a new laptop last. my old laptop didnt sync like this does. must be w7. anyway, as soon as i plug in, it syncs, when i open up WMDC it says i have images to sync. i always click yes. i want to save them. i found where they sync to on my laptop. when i import them, the box that pops up says that their being imported from My Storage/DCIM/100SSCAM. but only new ones are being imported. also pictures from My Documents/My Pictures sync. when i open up the folder on the pc, the number of pix doesnt add up.
i dont understand how their being synced from 2 places at the same time. the pix in my storage and my docs are diff so i can see whats what. only pix i took today that default storage to My Storage synced. and still all of the ones from My Docs synced.
does this make sence to you? i suppose i can refrain if you need detatil.
i want the pix from my storage/dcim/100sscam to sync....all of them. i cant find the settings, nor have i had to deal with this before so it is new to me.
