O2 SWYPE Keyboard Working On i900/i910

Thought I would share my find with you all just in case you guys don't already know.

The Omnia 2 Keyboard has been successfully ported by leo001.

I have been using it for 3 hours and I'm already typing faster (swyping) than I ever did before.

Check it out here.

Enjoy!

ps. I was so happy with the keyboard I donated some $$. If your happy to it would be nice to show some tangible gratitude.

Yeah I downloaded and started using it last night. It's cool that it actually includes a tutorial to get you more in touch with it's capabilities. There is a learning curve to deal with, but if you can get through a couple hours of figiting with it, you will get the hang of it. One thing I do NOT like is that for the Omnia, it is not finger-friendly. Using a stylus...it is amazing. But who wants to use a stylus all the time? Great job either way, Leo. I am so glad that there are smart people in this world to do these things for us!!

It's a lot easier if you use it in landscape mode. Either way this is a cool app once you get use to it.

Thanks. This should help me with my decision about getting the O2. Swype is a plus right now, only because I hope it will be a good input method for me. But that might turn out to be a false hope. Now I can find out before I make the decision.

Thank you so much! That is by far the coolest keyboard I've ever had the opportunity to use on my Omnia. Yeah, it was a bit of a learning curve, but once I figured out what I was doing it was remarkably easy to use. I don't even really have much of an issue with using my finger on it since it's so good at guessing what I meant. Great find!

The omnia 1 might be a little too narrow to fully enjoy swype

It works great with the stylus; also using my finger is fine but it needs a fingernail to get it to work, which feels like i'm scratching the screen. Capacitive screen would probably be fantastic for this purpose.
