Orientation can be enabled - see the following link:

Orientation Detection v1.0 & AutoRotation v1.1 - WinMo @ MoDaCo



Works very well indeed and hopefully will be part of any future cooked ROM. And the screen is unbelievably good

If you're still looking for a way to use the flash as flashlight, just create a shortcut to the LCDTest.exe file (this is also where the compass is). Once open click megacam and the flash lights up until you hit end/power. Then hit end/power again to exit LCDTest screen

Here's hoping the new update file for the Omnia II will soon provide tools for creating ROMs for this model. Anyone making any progress with this please update us.

It's slow going, though. Between something that's making his repackaged stock ROM not work fully and OCTANS giving me a fight and being arbitrary about when it will or will not recognise my i920, we're taking longer than I think either of us had hoped. He's a great guy though :)
