Re: Omnia II release on Black Friday? Update: Dec 2nd

It's not out yet for any device. It might be able to be ported once the O2 drops though.

Re: Omnia II release on Black Friday? Update: Dec 2nd

Well I was thinking I was probably going to get the O2 anyway, but Swype looks like one more good reason. I really don't like typing much on these devices. Used to lean more toward transcriber, but maybe this will do it for me.

If you've waited this long for the Omnia 2, you might want to consider waiting just a few more months for the HTC HD2, which will be leaps and bounds ahead of the O2:

http://www.slashgear.com/htc-hd2-get...video-0659275/

5 MP camera, 1 GHz snapdragon processor, WinMo 6.5, and a capacitive touchscreen (like the iphone's that allows for multitouch pinch zooming and such)

...not to mention the fact that HTC phones usually have 10x the support on this website than the Omnia ever had.

Just something to consider...

She would have to switch carriers for that phone. Not sure it would be worth that much hassle.
