Ok so I am a complete noob when it comes to this flashing Rom thing. I have an Omnia 2 with dc23 on it. I would love for it to have this Rom but have no idea of where to start or how this process works. Would there be any takers out there that would be able to break it down for me? Please?

I have successfully flashed my i920 once to a previous version of this ROM and I am still having issues sending music or video that is already saved on my phone. Any time that I create a new message, then opt to make it a MMS by adding a media file, it wont let me. Well, it will let me add a picture file, just not any other file.
Now, when I flashed, the only thing that I am not sure about was in the Octans program itself. I followed the directions layed out here..

In fact..all I did was hit the PDA button, selected the nb0 file, then checked the "erase CSC file". Then hit DETECT...etc. The directions clearly say that I should "erase csc" but really should I? Seems as though I am missing a step or something. Can someone help me? I dont think Ninja rom is at fault, or more people would be complaining about this problem, but I dont know how to fix it myself.

I am not sure about the issues you are having, but I have NEVER checked "Erase CSC file" and it doesn't sound good. Try flashing without that. You might need to go back and reflash with DC23 just to make sure CSC is OK.

i tried to reflash the dc23 thing using the upgrade tool, and it says that I don't need to upgrade and wont allow me to update the software. It must recognize that I have already updated once before. That was the first thing that I thought to do also, but obviously it didnt work. And, I have reflashed this rom and also two other ninja roms without checking the erase csc file thing and same result. What should I do?

Verizon Update URL says DC23 is not longer available because the newer update is DG21... any differences in the steps required to flash your rom?

Hello, I am new to this forum and have an Omnia II. I am having a lot of trouble understanding how to flash the rom on this phone. Is there anywhere that give a step by step? I have Octans and some of the step, I just don't understand. Any help would be greatly appreiated.
