That is correct, take the battery out for a second and then reinsert it. Remember to press and hold the vlolume down button first. While continuing to press and hold the volume down button, press and hold the send button. While continuing to press and hold the two previous buttons, press and hold the end/power button. Continue to press and hold all three buttons until SAMSUNG screen comes up and the progress bar runs fully. Then you may release and follow prompts to reset. It was the third option if I remember correctly. Best of luck y'all!
