Can you disable the side buttons?

I have one of those car holders that consists are two arms that "squeeze" the Moment into a nice little secure cradle. Problem is it is causing the side buttons to be pressed in sometimes causing my camera to turn on etc. Is there an app that lets you selectively lock these buttons so pressing them can't accidentally trigger the camera etc?

Re: Can you disable the side buttons?

my freind had the same problem with his g1. he took a razor and trimmed the rubber on the side to a small secion that would not touch the button. leave the same thickness just trim off the section that is actually touching your button.

Re: Can you disable the side buttons?

You can remap the buttons to something else or permanently disable them, but there's no app to temporarily do it.
