Re: Has anyone found out how to make it 1% with the battery

someone correct me if I am wrong but I believe the reason these phones don't discharge so much is because it will affect the batterys over-all life.

but I believe rooting and removing Shutdown.apk and Shutdown.odex does about what your looking for

Re: Has anyone found out how to make it 1% with the battery

maybe re-phrase your question, it didn't exactly make sense. I assumed you mean you battery draining to 1% beings that the moments shuts down at 5%

[edit]and I meant OVER-all battery life, not AFTER-all.... oops

Re: Has anyone found out how to make it 1% with the battery

Oh, I read the first post and thought he meant showing battery increments of 1%. I know this was something I always used with windows mobile. I'd like to know if there's something like that for the moment too, provided it doesn't kill the battery even faster because it's polling all of the time.

Re: Has anyone found out how to make it 1% with the battery

it seems the way the phone calculates its voltage and therefore remaining battery power, according to Numus @ SDX who adjusted the source code for the battery meter, they don't provide accurate enough information to narrow it down to 1% intervals from the stock 10% intervals.
Although, he was able to lower it to 5% intervals with a decent amount of accuracy.

So theres no way to like copy or see how it is on the hero, knowing that ones a htc and the other a samsung. I just thought that maybe we finially got that far with the moment and all with people like u and everyone else i figure that would have came across. Well i guess ill be waitin for that day when it is perfected. But thanks joey for all the hard work u done and when u releasing that your new kernal. Well thanks people im sure this thread will stay open for a lil longer lol.

No offense meant, but you can't honestly say that makes sense. All I mean is you'll get your answer quicker if people understand what you're asking.
