2.1 with root v7

so I updated to 2.1 DD10 and I have root v7. I am pretty sure i am rooted, cause my apps that require root, work. when I go into my connectbot terminal, I type su and the $ changes to # but I cannot mount to read/write...... wtf am I doing wrong?

unfortunately, v7 doesn't come with the "remount rw/ro" shortcut script... instead, you're going to have to type:

mount -t rfs -o remount,rw /dev/stl5 /system

mount -t rfs -o remount,ro /dev/stl5 /system

i think there's a tutorial in writing the script for remount rw and remount ro out there somewhere...

yea, thanks, I figured that out. it's over on SDX. luckily caulkin removed a lot of the shit I didn't want anyways...
