Re: [HOW TO] Gain Permanent Root on CL14 Out-The-Box and Backup/Restore Customization

those are the commands to run, have you checked (for the heck of it) to ensure that you do have your phone rooted? Check your software version and make sure it says Zefie Kernel...

LOL! I hate it when I keep trying something that is not working for me only to find out it was user error (me) all along. I am an IT Manager and trust me, I do it to myself often. I'm just glad that you got it figured it out.

i'm totally inlove with my moment now. i previously had the touch pro 2 and it got kinda boring without the apps. now that my moment is rooted, the battery life is amazing, theres no silly bloatware eating up my battery life or slowing down my processor. they just figured out how to get andriod working on the tp2 but i still would rather stick with the moment

Funny, that is exactly how I feel. My wife has my old TP2, running a nice custom 6.5 ROM, and I never even touch it. My Moment has a much nicer display, is blazing fast and never locks up like her TP2 does.

Let the "wannabes" with the TP2s have their Android port. With that 528 MHz processor, it's nothing more than a glorified Hero with a keyboard. And my Moment blows that out of the water
