Re: [HOW TO] Gain Permanent Root on CL14 Out-The-Box and Backup/Restore Customization

Me again.
I think I deleted an app or file I shouldn't have. Only place I've been in is the system/app folder, havn't touched anything else.
Problem: can't download anything from the market
Symptoms: I click install, it says it needs to acess this and that I hit ok download it starts to download and sits there at "starting download" with the bar, but it never goes past that.

Anyone that can help?

would be helpful if you could either list what you deleted or list what is in system/app
then we could compare to what we have deleted or what's in our list

I reflashed to factory again. Then put on joey 1.9.5. I had zefie's on but heard that 1: he wasn't supporting it anymore and 2: you (sdx) weren't supporting it either, so I went with joey's. I am back rooted and have a list of things to delete, but not gonna remove gmail or mail apps, don't wanna mess things up again lol.

Hey Rainfreak, in your own opinion, which kernel is the best to run for good battery life? I constantly use Pandora while I'm at work and after a few hours my battery is down to like 20%.
