Calkulin, something's not working right. I have had to pull the battery 6 times since installing your newest 1.4a ROM just last night. I hit the end key to wake it up and nothing. No choice but to pull the battery. I hope you are working on a fix for this. It's annoying.

the phone locks up on me and i get a blocky screen some times when smsing with 1.4a &live walpaper

Sorry guys, I've been on vacation this past week, so I really haven't had a chance to post anything but I'll be releasing v1.5 hopefully today with Joey's kernel and I've also fixed some of the issues(permissions mainly) that have been causing problems.

Looks like I have everything working like it should, so before I post it as the final version, I'll post it so everyone can try it. It includes Joey's 2.0.2 kernel, Helix Launcher 1.4, etc and it will NOT format your data, so everything will stay as it was but make a backup before installing

After using your ROM I'm unable to mount my sdcard, I don't even get the notification of the USB cable being plugged in, only when I unplug it

Anyone else having this issue?

Try the one is the first post as I did some more permission changes(not related to USB function tho) and see

And on that note, the final v1.5 is up

EDIT: also make sure to turn off USB debugging in settings/applications/development if you don't have the drivers installed. But I just reuploaded v1.5 with that disabled by default, so you shouldn't have that issue anymore

I am having the exact same issue. I tried to update to Sprint's new update and can't because my computer isn't recognizing my phone now...

I've had the same issue in the past, but if I pulled the battery or restarted the phone, it would show usb connected again and I could mount the card.

MENU>SETTINGS>APPLICATION SETTINGS>DEVELOPMENT>UNCHECK USB DEBUGGING

That should resolve your issue

I tried your suggestion numerous times and never go the darn SDCard to be recognized when plugging in USB. I did the above steps as Caulkin suggested and voila, I got SD!

LOL. I couldn't figure out what he meant by o\r but now that I see it, it all makes sense. It's supposed to be a musical note with a line through it (no sound). Sorry I couldn't answer before these guys did. I was clueless.

thank u guys and i also hit the green thank buttons for each of u.the rom runs great, calk! iwas just bothered by that symbol and i tried to take a screen shot but the app 'still shot'only took a picture of thescreen and not the tool bar.go figure. again thank you.

Anyone haviving issues receiving pics with this ROM? I'm getting them fine, but a friend with the same rom isn't getting pics. Vids seem to come thru for him though. Any guesses?


Nevermind. I told him to restart the phone, and now they're coming through fine.

You must the using the stock DE03 recovery console, update it to a custom one and won't have that issue. If you need instructions, let me know

Does anyone know where to save wallpapers, so that they show up in wallpaper gallery? I kinda miss some of the ones that are in the stock ROM. I can add them all back in, but they just show up in the regular gallery.

What do you need to do to prepare a moment that has the Sprint 2.1 on it? :)
I only ask because the how to says it is not for Moments with 2.1 on it....

I loaded Sprint 2.1 w joeykim then went to recovery with the Sprint 2.1 DE03 update.zip on the root of the SD. It fails with verfication error. I renamed to update.zip still fails. Help??? :oops:

Guess no one is gonna reply. For anyone with same issue here is what I had to do. Instead of using the Stock 2.1 Sprint ROM downgrade to 1.5 then make sure you use the old software updater and follow the instructions. Thanks.

I'm having the same problem ,network timing out. I get a retry message sometimes ,and if i hit it it works for a while..
