Well it seems the only app I can get working in navigation. The others it says something about being a sprint customer. It seems to be looking for something. I dunno what though

You dont think it has to do anything with the streaming app fix do you?

phone > Dialer > ##3282# > Multimedia > Enter "MSL" > You will see RTST Proxy, HTTPPD Proxy > modify every list > set Address with "0.0.0.0", port with '0'. "

You do need your MSL though in order to do this.

Wonder if they work on the DD10 or 03 that was leaked?

nope didn't work. those were empty as it was. But I put 0.0.0.0 in each one anyways. lol

blah that stinks.. I am out of ideas...they prolly dont work on the regular dd10 either? cuz the dd03 did come with sprint apps on it which is confusing me why it wont work.

OK, I installed Calkulin's 2.1 ROM and all is well (even streaming Sprint TV and Youtube), however, I can't figure out why the sound keeps routing back and forth from speaker to earpiece at random. I am quite happy with every other aspect of it, but I keep missing text messages and THAT'S not acceptable ! Anyone have any light to shed on that situation ?

Is anyone having issues with it freezing up and lagging? My phone never did it once before I updated it and after putting the new ROM on it it does it all the time.

And why can I not uninstall Advanced Task Killer? You know that is actually not good for Android phones right? Look up how the software works and it will tell you to let Android work on it's own and don't kill things.

it wont open. i click it, it fades in, then fades out.
and i cant DL anything from the market....

i flashed back to the sprint update, and it works again, applied your rom again and it still doesnt work....weird?

Redownload the ROM and try again as I reuploaded the ROM with a small change. Even tho, I have no issues downloading from the Market

Try the one I just uploaded since I had to add a script to clear out some files during the flash that can cause problems since it wasn't formatting the data directory anymore

Have you tried wiping(resetting) your phone after installing or better yet, before you install the ROM? Because I had no issues installing from the Market when I did a fresh install of the ROM earlier today or now that I did a restore

yep, went to the stock 2.1, worked, went back to cl14, then up to 2.1, then your 2.1 stopped working, went back to stock and its working

question. i have no pc or usb cable atm so i dont have the official 2.1 upgrade yet. can i use the stock 2.1 recovery via sd card to upgrade? sorry if it has little to do with the rom...

if you do it that way you will lose your recovery and have to wait to get a data cable to get the custom recovery on there

No HTC keyboard? Other than that it looks great!
One other thing.... Can someone tell me where the wallpapers that are in the main memory reside? I've been trying to add wallpapers, and I'd like them to be in the wallpaper gallery and not have to load them like a photo from the main gallery.

If I previously rooted my phone ....had ...dd03, how do i now install calkulin's 2.1 rom? I followed the instructions and did the sprint update but don't like it... lost my ability to do live wallpapers, my swype....and i need it all back! Don't like their standard 2.1 update

Hey Calkulin, any chance you'll be able to do anything to improve the battery life with this ROM ? I'm getting 7 hours MAX before having to recharge. Love the ROM, hate the battery life !

For those that have issues with Market, try downloading the ROM that is up now, when installing you should see 4 lines that say deleting and see if that fixes the issue. If not, then do a backup and then wipe the phone and install the ROM and check

1.4a is up now and that should fix the permissions that were causing the Market issues
