Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

Thing I hate most on the Intrepid is the radio gets turned off too easily. When I hang up from a call, if I press the "end" button a little too long, the phone turns off its radio without me knowing it.

Does installing SPB mobile shell help with this issue?

Or if anyone knows of a reg hack or .cab file to fix the radio turning off problem, please let me know.

Thanks!

Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

It's not a problem, it's by design; most WM phones do this. You should not need to press and hold the end key to end a call. One quick press will do. The key is to give the phone time to hang up. Typically there is a delay of 5 seconds (seems like an eternity) between when I tap the red end key and the call actually disconnects. Just be patient.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

well i have used windows mobile for about 7 years. i never really felt any of the replacement shells offered enough to make it worth the cost. that all changed with this phone and more importantly 6.5. i do like 6.5 i think it was a big improvement but as most have stated here they didn't go far enough and the home screen is just a tease of what it could be in my opinion. Given that and given the end of year discounts i decided to splurge and get it. I love it. It really does make the phone more usable and even more fun.

Agreed. $30 was too steep IMO. Titanium isn't great, but it's usable. The 50% discount was far too good a deal to pass up.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

Any idea if this will go on sale again?

I downloaded/installed it yesterday and it's great... but not for $30.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

i contacted them directly and i think they might hook me up for 50% off. I told them I was impressed but didnt want to spend $30 I said I could justify spending $15 they LOL'ed and said they would get back to me. I really want it but dont want to spend 30 to get it. Im cheap what can I say.

Re: SPB Mobile Shell = Heaven on the Intrepid

Well I'd say a bunch of people buying it for $15 is better then those people not buying it. Money is money. Then again, it's not my products, and what do I know.

So did they hook you up with the $15? Anyone know if any of the hacks work for it?
