Re: Will we be able to upgrade to wm 7?
Nope, Windows 7 requires specific hardware...the intrepid doesnt have the right resolution, processor, or buttons

Re: Will we be able to upgrade to wm 7?
It's 100% quoted from Microsoft, never mind the hardware support. No Current devices will have a Windows Phone 7 upgrade available for them (incuding the HTC HD2)
Unless a 3rd party hacks it in, NO

Re: Will we be able to upgrade to wm 7?
If I were in your situation. I would hold on to my phone till i was eligible.
Threre are going to be some bugs at first. I'm sure of it. Plus by the time you're ready for your upgrade... 2ghz processors will be out and 64gb cards will be like 50 bucks or so. p. |

I know I am going to hang onto my Intrepid until it is just plain dead, and Sprint has no more to offer, then I am going with Android!

Re: Will we be able to upgrade to wm 7?
Being a Sero user, I will stay with Sprint for $30.00 per month. I suspect that this will eliminate me from any Windows 7 phones, just as it does for Android phones, but it is hard to beat the monthly charge, and the Win 6.5 is fine, at least for now. Plus I will not be losing the multi-tasking capabilities that will not be a part in Win 7 phone o/s.
