Intrepid's tough...

So I went to grab my Intrepid off the edge of the sofa tonight, and of course it went sailing out of my hand, through three feet of solid air and hit the hardwood floor at terminal velocity (they call it hardwood for a reason I guess). The back cover flew off, the battery came out, and (didn't notice this until later) the phone body separated just above the power button (where silver meets black). Must have been the point of impact. Popped it back together, put the battery in, slid the cover back on, and it seems fine so far. I just did a button test to be sure all the keys worked, so far so good. Camera still works too. Somehow I get the feeling my Touch Pro would not have fared so well.

The small part of me that really wanted a TP2 all along partly died inside when it turned on, but hey it's not Christmas yet. There's still time.
