they say they cant flash it

i took my ace to metropcs and was told that it couldnt be flashed. Is this true? if not what needs to be done to the phone to make it "flashable"? if they can flash it, how do I get the internet to be fully functional?

Verizon saids the same to their customers. If you go to a verizon store and asked for your pda to be flashed with the most current firmware they will state they can't because of policy "they don't want to lose your data on the pda".

Anyways, it is pretty easy to update the firmware to the latest Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, just go here and follow the instructions based on your PC OS for the i760:
