front Facing camera on Samsung mesmerize DISABLED on us ccellular !

Simple question i jus want access to the front camera on the phone. The camera is physically on there but us cellular disabled it.. How can i get it working. And i already tried all the the video chat apps...... Anybody?

As far as I know, the Sprint Epic is the only U.S. Galaxy S with a front camera. I checked the Samsung manual and other sites that list specs, and none of them mention a front camera on the Mesmerize. You may be confusing the light sensors on the front with a camera?

I too have the Mesmerize and noticed the front facing camera. I tried downloading other camera apps that might allow using it, but didn't seem to find anything. There is a proximity sensor but I'm pretty sure there is also a camera. Looks EXACTLY like one! Maybe this will be enabled with Froyo?

There is NO camera on the Mesmerize. I have one... It is a light sensor.

There is a front facing camera it is just disabled. I spoke with the tech at local us cellular and he advised someone had came in with a jailbroken one from them and had front camera.. I'm trying to learn how to do so once i do i will post how!

you sure he didnt manually install one? there is a tutorial how to install one in a vibrant which is fairly simple..maybe he did same thing...
