To note the original one had timing issues so it was put on hold to make it public until an underlying project is done..im 99% sure this does not have that underlying project hence will give you crazy benchmarks but cause more issues then good at the moment..

My opinion is dont use it yet..but thats up to you.

I read about 10 pages of that before I posted and didn't see anything that addressed power consumption. But it doesn't matter...my wife has the Epic and not me and she won't try a custom ROM.
