except he posted that sprint was going to announce the release date any minute now and to look out for the announcement...which hasn't happened of course...

Aye, that seems a bit odd, but any minute now in Sprint time is like within the next day? lol

There is talk of some announcement coming the 11th, so maybe that is it.

FWIW, I got a confirmation from a sprint store employee that its also on the 21st.
