Have you used both hummingbird and snapdragon processors and done research on the differences in quality and speed? I would like to know. Last I heard it wasn't that big of a difference.

Re: Samsung Galaxy S will receive official Froyo(2.2) upgrade!
The difference is actually pretty big..the newer 2nd snapdragons are closer to the Hummingbird but the older gen there is a pretty big difference...and not surprising..1st gen Snapdragons were made in 2008, Hummingbirds and 2nd gen snapdragons were made in 2009..is it really hard to believe that a processor made a year later would be better? look at computers..look at dual core processors made in 2010..every year is a leap forward...

Re: Samsung Galaxy S will receive official Froyo(2.2) upgrade!
"Froyo later this year and offer compatibility with Flash 10.1. All of the devices will be shipping with Android 2.1 out of the gate, so considering that Froyo's already launched, we're sure there'll be no shortage of pressure to get the updates fast-tracked. Sprint says it won't be a long wait on the Epic, but otherwise, we don't have any time frames at this point."
