Didn't flash at all. Copied the two .jar files to the system and overwrote the existing ones. Did NOT copy over the obex files. Instructions suggested only the Jar files were needed.

I guess my next question would be how do I 'clear the cache' on a stock rom?
At a loss for things to try since I don't have the recovery route to flash (say what?) a zip file into the rom. Sent from my SPH-D710 on the PPCGeeks App

Went with the clockwork mod and all is well now. Not sure what I was thinking in holding out and not installing it.
