Re: AT&T tells Samsung Focus customers not to buy microSD cards yet, wait for 'certif
when i switched from tp2 to focus, i swapped my a-data 8 gb card and reset it. it did not show up. then i reset it again and showed up and it is working w/o issues now.
If you want to try it, try it as soon as you receive the phone as it hard resets the phone. |

I have a 32GB Kingston with over 10GB of data loaded - works perfectly. I have heard some are having problems at 15-20GB - I'll update when I reach that point. For now - works fantastic.

Re: AT&T tells Samsung Focus customers not to buy microSD cards yet, wait for 'certif
I thought I would add my recent experience on the microSD card issue. After buying the phone I decided to purchase a microSD card I saw on sale. It was a Kodak branded card, 8 GB. The short version: everything worked as expected until I powered the device off and then on. No contacts, no access to music, and none of my settings were remembered. I found a 4 GB Sandisk card lying around. Formatted it and the phone. Reloaded everything. Everything is now working as it should, even after a "soft" reset.
BTW, love the phone. El Mono P.S. I was told that the card was my issue on th WP7 forums, otherwise I would never have guessed it. |
