Oooops....nope!
sorry I really am being the grinch today. ;) The update button in settings on the device is for future use for minor .cab type updates to be installed, not major ROM upgrades. To do the WM6.5 upgrade you need to "flash" the ROM. This done by downloading a ROM onto your desktop, which includes the software to flash the ROM onto the device. It's a few simple button clicks accompanied by holding one's breath and crossing fingers. ;)

How the upgrade will be made ? by downloading from microsoft website ? from telus ?

You will go to a link from your carrier's site which usually links to a download from HTC, which is carrier specific.

I knew I shouldn't have said that........With every ROM flash there is a very remote chance of a glitch....nothing your friends here at PPC geeks can't work out. After doing dozens of flashes over the years and reading about millions of others, it is extremely rare....not to worry. :)

From the microsoft source, the it seems that the improvement is not that much....

Why should i be exited ? because of the online backup ? because of the app market ? because of what else .....??? i'm sorry i don't see .....

Even for the 6.5 interface i find the tf3d 'desktop' interface with the coming schedule much cool
