Leo/HD2 Startup Animation/Splash Screen

Found this little tidbit over at XDA-Developers.

This is the Leo/HD2 animation startup for nearly all HTC devices.
I made this animation in Photoshop from scratch, so it's easier to customize and probably smaller in size.

The 'Custom Black' packages are updated, they now include a setup.dll which allows you to directly soft-reset your device after it's installed (thanks a lot MysticGenius!)
And MG also gave me some extra registry edits for which I've been looking for a long time. It will be more compatible with more devices and ROMs.

Warning: This animation is pretty big! WVGA is ~400 KB, I can make it smaller but quality reduces if I do that.
As you can see I like clean design!
And note that the quality and speed of these previews is pretty bad.

Downloads

To download only the Leo HTCAnimation, so without welcomehead, select 'File' or 'Cab'. To download the full pack, select 'Full'.
For the black versions, select 'File Black', 'Cab Black' or 'Full Black'.
For the Custom animation, choose 'Custom White' or 'Custom Black'

Can't believe that you didn't get more traffic on this thread. Wanted to say thanks. If you ever get this - is there also a way to get rid of the ugly orange screen during boot up?

I take no credit for this boot/splash. This was created by Elcondor over at XDA.

The orange screen is the last one, correct? Depending on which version you install, it will replace the orange screen.

Yes - the orange screen is the last screen. I installed the Black Custom. SHould I have installed the Black Full?

I also am wondering - the .wav file for sound - do I simply move it to my windows directory? Or somewhere else? Or does it have to be renamed?

Sorry if I missed that.

The black full didn't seem to work for most people. I tried to manually edit the registry, but couldn't get the sound file to work.

I like the black custom the best.
